I love this piece because it is almost like it shows a soft side to the grim reaper we all see him as a dark mysterious creature who comes for souls and lives but in this picture the artist has captured what we never thought the grim reaper ever felt and thats love and compassion. It is as if he wants to protect the girl who is in his arms and keep her from harm. I love the colours and the whole concept of light meets dark its a very intriguing piece with a story behind it wonderful work dear loved it x
I truly love this piece. The others that go with it are even better. This is dark but not too much so. It feels very well balanced. I like how you also used a bit of nudity in a very tasteful way, difficult to achieve, and that instead most nudity that only serves as eye candy, you made it very relevant to the overall look. The free-flowing lines really caught my attention too! Her dress (or whats left of it) looks real and I love the contrast to the rest of the colors around it. Death's cloak is torn and weathered instead of one big black sheet which I loved about this picture. I found that I couldn't stop coming back to this. It's my favorite of the three. A true masterpiece and nothing short of it. <3
Does anyone know where the story for this series is?
